Extra-Curricular: Beekeeping Club for High Schools

Looking to offer a distinctive and enriching extra-curricular opportunity for your students? Our Beekeeping Club program introduces high school students to the world of beekeeping through a thoughtfully designed, long-form learning experience that blends science, sustainability, and real-world application.

We work in partnership with schools to support a program that extends learning beyond the classroom and into authentic, nature-based contexts. Students explore the biology and ecology of bees, the role of pollinators in food systems, and the responsibilities involved in caring for living systems, while developing skills in observation, critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving.

The program is structured to encourage inquiry, leadership, and environmental stewardship, giving students the opportunity to engage with complex systems and build confidence through meaningful, hands-on learning. It is well suited to students with an interest in science, agriculture, sustainability, or environmental studies, and provides a valuable extension to classroom learning without feeling like more classroom learning.

This experience offers schools a unique way to foster responsibility, curiosity, and real-world skills, while supporting student engagement and connection to the natural environment.
