  • We do. Our corporate experiences can be tailored to focus on sustainability, environmental impact, pollination, and food systems, or designed as a unique, hands-on team experience. They are well suited to team days, wellbeing events, and sustainability initiatives.

  • Yes. We provide gentle, engaging sessions for aged care homes that are designed to be safe, accessible, and enjoyable. These sessions often focus on storytelling, visual and sensory experiences, and meaningful connection, and are adapted to suit residents’ needs and mobility.

  • Absolutely. We work with children, teenagers, adults, and seniors. The content, pacing, and activities of each session are carefully adjusted to suit the audience and setting.

  • While every session is tailored, experiences may include:

    • Learning about bees, pollination, and their role in our environment

    • Safe, up-close observation of live bees (including native stingless bees or honeybees depending on the session booked)

    • Hands-on activities using beeswax or honey-related materials

  • Yes. Where appropriate, we bring live bees, including native stingless bees and honeybees, in a safe and carefully managed way. All live bee components are handled by experienced beekeepers and educators using appropriate equipment and clear safety protocols.

  • Safety is central to everything we do. All sessions are designed and delivered by experienced professionals, using risk-assessed setups, clear guidelines, and age-appropriate activities to ensure a positive and comfortable experience for all participants.

Our programs are built around authentic, hands-on learning experiences that invite participants to explore, discover, and engage — rather than simply watch or listen.

  • Yes. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to support learning outcomes across early learning and school settings, including areas such as science, sustainability, environmental education, pollination, and caring for living things.

    All sessions are aligned with relevant frameworks, including the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG), My Time, Our Place (MTOP), and the Australian Curriculum in Queensland (ACiQ). We are also happy to tailor each experience to align with your centre or school’s specific learning goals and focus areas.

  • Session length varies depending on the group, setting, and objectives. We offer a range of packages and session formats, and these can differ from booking to booking depending on what you’re looking to achieve.

    We’ll work with you to recommend the most suitable option and design a session length and structure that fits your schedule, your group, and your learning goals.

  • Teralba Bees is based in Everton Hills, Brisbane, and primarily delivers programs across Brisbane and surrounding regions, including north Brisbane and nearby areas. We have also delivered programs in the past across South East Queensland, including the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Maryborough, and the South Burnett.

    For locations outside the Brisbane area, a travel fee may apply. We’ll always discuss this with you as part of your booking.

  • Yes. In addition to one-off sessions, we offer longer-term programs and partnerships focused on pollination, sustainability, and environmental education. This includes our Pollination Partnership Program and our Beekeeping Club, which provide deeper, ongoing learning and engagement over time.

    We’re also happy to explore “Sponsor a Hive”–style programs for organisations that are interested in supporting bees and pollination but are unable to host a hive on site. These partnerships can be tailored to suit your organisation’s goals and level of involvement.
